Old Centurion and New Centurion
Centurion covers two building eras that need different handling. The older core — Lyttelton, Clubview, Wierdapark, Eldoraigne — is solid brick from the seventies and eighties, with the hard plaster and concrete lintels that go with it. The estates and complexes that have filled in around Highveld, Rooihuiskraal and Copperleaf are newer, lighter construction with partition walls and hollow internal cavities.
Neither is harder than the other, but assuming the wrong one causes real damage. We establish the construction before a single hole is drilled, then pick the fixings and the cable strategy to match. In the older homes that usually means masonry anchors and a chased or trunked cable run. In the newer estates it means fixing to studs or adding backing, with cables run invisibly inside the wall.

What matters for mounting in Centurion
Construction Established Before Drilling
Solid brick, concrete or partition — the wall decides the bracket, the anchors and the drill. We check first. It takes two minutes and it is the difference between a mount that lasts and a repair job.
Estate Access Arranged Up Front
Highveld, Copperleaf, Irene and the surrounding estates each have their own access and contractor rules. Tell us where you are when you book and the paperwork is done before the installer arrives.
Full Setup, Not Just a Bracket
Decoder, soundbar, console, streaming and network all get connected and tested. We configure HDMI ARC so a single remote handles volume, and we show you the setup working before we pack up.

Questions from Centurion
What Centurion customers ask us most.
Still not sure?
Send a photo of your dish, decoder or TV on WhatsApp. We can often tell you what’s wrong before we get in the van.
WhatsApp a photoDo you work inside the Centurion estates?
Yes, regularly — Highveld, Copperleaf, Irene and the surrounding complexes. Give us the estate when you book so access, working hours and any contractor requirements are arranged in advance rather than on the day.
My Lyttelton house has very hard walls. Can you still mount cleanly?
Yes. Older Centurion brick and its concrete lintels need proper hammer drilling and quality masonry anchors, which our installers carry as standard. Hard walls are actually the best thing to mount on once you have the right tools.
Can you hide the cables completely?
It depends on the wall. In the newer estate homes we can usually run everything inside the cavity so nothing shows at all. In the older solid-brick homes we either chase a channel and make good, or fit slim trunking matched to the wall colour. Both are quoted before we start.
Can you mount a TV in the braai or entertainment area?
Yes, and it is a common request here. An outdoor or semi-outdoor position needs a weather-rated bracket, a protected power supply and cabling suited to temperature swings. We spec it properly rather than putting an indoor setup somewhere it will corrode.
