An intermittent or dead DStv signal almost always traces back to one of a handful of causes: a dish nudged out of alignment by wind, a failed or water-damaged LNB, corroded connectors, cracked or perished cable, or a decoder fault. Topping up nothing and ‘rebooting’ endlessly won’t fix any of them.
We diagnose on site with a signal meter — checking strength and quality at the dish and at the decoder — so we find the actual fault instead of swapping parts and hoping. Then we repair it: re-align and re-secure the dish, replace the LNB, re-terminate and seal the connections, or replace the run of cable that’s let water in.

‘Rain fade’ on a healthy install is brief. If yours pixelates or drops every time it rains, the real cause is usually a poorly sealed connection letting water in, a weak signal margin from a slightly off dish, or a failing LNB — all of which we can correct so it holds through the weather.
What does error E48-32 (or E16 / E30) mean?
E48-32 and E16 generally point to a signal or hardware fault between the dish and decoder — a misaligned dish, a failed LNB, or a cable problem. E30 relates to the smartcard or subscription. We identify which it is on site and fix the underlying cause.
Can you repair it the same day?

My dish was moved by roof work or wind — can you re-align it?
