Established Homes, Solid Walls
Kempton Park’s residential suburbs were mostly built solid: double-skin brick, hard plaster, concrete lintels above the openings. For wall mounting that is close to ideal, because a correctly anchored bracket in that kind of wall is not going anywhere. It does mean the job needs proper hammer drilling and masonry anchors rather than the generic fixings supplied in most bracket boxes.
The complication here is more often the room than the wall. A lot of homes in Birchleigh, Norkem Park and Edleen have had lounges extended or enclosed patios converted, which leaves power points and aerial outlets in places that no longer relate to where the television now lives. Part of what we do is sort that out properly — getting power and signal to the screen position you actually want, rather than mounting the TV wherever the existing plug happens to be.

What matters for mounting in Kempton Park
Proper Masonry Fixing
Solid brick and concrete lintels need hammer drilling and correctly rated anchors. Our installers carry both. Done right, the mount will comfortably outlast the television hanging on it.
Power and Signal Brought to the Screen
Where the plug and the aerial point are on the wrong wall, we sort it out — extending the run properly and concealing it — rather than mounting the TV in a compromised position because that is where the socket is.
Cables Chased or Trunked, Your Choice
Solid walls mean cables cannot simply disappear into a cavity. We either chase a channel and make good for a completely invisible finish, or fit slim colour-matched trunking. Both are quoted before any work starts.

Questions from Kempton Park
What Kempton Park customers ask us most.
Still not sure?
Send a photo of your dish, decoder or TV on WhatsApp. We can often tell you what’s wrong before we get in the van.
WhatsApp a photoThe plug is on the wrong wall for where I want the TV. Can you fix that?
Yes, and it is one of the most common things we sort out here. We can extend the supply properly and conceal the run so the television goes where you actually want it. Any electrical work is done to standard rather than with an extension lead hidden behind the screen.
Can you mount on the wall of an enclosed patio?
Usually. Converted patios sometimes have lighter external walls or large window sections, so we check the construction and find a position with real structure behind it. If the wall you have in mind cannot carry the load safely, we will tell you and suggest the nearest one that can.
How long does a wall mounting take?
A straightforward mount with surface cabling is usually about ninety minutes including connecting and testing everything. Chasing cables into a solid wall and making good adds time, and we tell you the realistic duration when we quote.
Do you take the old TV down and remount it?
Yes. We take the existing set down, make good the old holes, and mount the new one with fixings rated for its weight. If you want the old television repaired or connected in another room, we can do that at the same visit.
