Newer Builds Need a Different Approach
Fourways and the estates around it are largely newer construction, and newer construction means partition walls. A great many internal lounge walls here are stud-and-board rather than solid brick, and that is the single most important thing to establish before a bracket goes up. A large screen hung off plasterboard fixings will eventually come down, and it takes the wall with it.
So we find the studs, and where they do not line up with where the TV needs to go, we fit proper backing behind the board rather than compromising the position. The upside of partition construction is cabling: a hollow wall is the easiest place in the world to hide a cable run, so in most Fourways homes we can get every cable completely out of sight without chasing or trunking.

Yes, when it is done correctly. The bracket must be fixed into the timber or steel studs, not into the board itself. Where the studs do not fall where you want the TV, we fit backing behind the board first. Done that way, a partition wall holds a large screen safely for years.
Can you hide the cables inside the wall?
In most Fourways homes, completely. A hollow partition lets us run in-wall rated power and HDMI cable inside the cavity so nothing is visible. We use cable rated for in-wall use, which matters for both safety and compliance.
Do you work inside Dainfern and the estates?
Regularly. Tell us which estate when you book so access can be arranged in advance. We work within estate rules on working hours, drilling and contractor access rather than turning up and hoping.
Can you mount on a mounted-TV recess or niche?
Yes, and it is common in newer builds here. A recess needs careful measurement for bracket depth, ventilation and cable access, and a slim fixed bracket rather than a full-motion arm. We measure properly before ordering anything.
